Summary

Breeding Hereford is an important moment in the country's food security. The change in ge-netic diversity in dairy cattle and the introduction of modern technologies of milk production led to the decline of cattle population in General and of young animals for fattening in particular. The issue of increasing the production of beef is associated with increase in the number of cattle meat breeds. But the breeding of Hereford beef includes not only the cost of feed, but the ob-servance of technology of cultivation of pedigree cattle under the control of its growth and de-velopment.
